Well here we are in the full energy of the 2012 shift. Every few days it seems we are faced with a prophesized portal waiting to carry us into the next stage. “What’s your take on the 2012 thing?” is almost as common as the old, “What’s your sign?” as a conversation starter in some circles.

And every day or so a new piece of the picture seems to come forth. Are we unable to make up our minds? Can’t the Universe make up it’s mind? Maybe there has been an eleventh hour change of plans. Maybe it is a hoax.

Or maybe the changes are a process of unfolding the maze we have created over the centuries. Maybe the revelation is a chance to see the canvas of life anew. The more tension that arises, the tighter the knots become until they strangle us or break free.

I’m seeing all of the above in the process.

Rather than spending time and energy deciding which is the truth, it seems at some level or to some extent it is all true. Or is being replaced with and in my vocabulary and sight. To have it all, it is necessary to release it all. Hmmm. The war is over. The 11.11.11 portal can be a gateway to the next room in the evolutionary house of humanity, or bars on the prison we build for ourselves. I suspect if we choose bars we have indicted ourselves and are calling a time-out to think about what we have done to Mother’s best china or dining room wall. In other words, we may need some quiet in all the ruckus to assess the damage we’ve done to ourselves, each other, and the home we live in, namely Earth.

Of course there can be too much reflection and lack of action, which keeps the mess in place. Time to apologize and make amends. Time to accept apologies and start anew. For the most part all of our strife has been our own creation. We can try something new. Transition from addiction to drama and power struggles and try “and” in place of “or” a bit more often until it becomes a new pattern of thought. Accept that we know so very little and the doors to wisdom open wide.
