Introduction

A Numerological Look at the Date 8/8/08
Published 7/6/08

Aside from it being 8/8/08, as written, if you 'calculate it out' it is also a universal day 8. I am VERY interested and have a WATCH on this date - fully written it is a 26/8.

The 26/8 vibration is understood better by looking at the meaning of the individual numbers. The root number 8 represents strength and success. This is achieved through 6 energy, which is a physical number of form [six sides] and dimension, and represents family, community, and responsibility. The 6 is preceded by and paired with the 2 energy, which desires marriage and family as well as partnership and enjoyment from being with people. So, you can see in this case that great strength and success is achieved through joining forces with another for the greater good of family and/or community.

Also, there is great strength in the spoken word. The 6 is representative of the voice, and 2 is good with words and communication. The 26th letter of the Alphabet is Z. In ancient times, Z had a governing influence of movement, with a meaning of weapon, sword or arrow. The main weapon is the tongue and the arrows are words, which can cut like a sharp sword or dispense love to heal any situation. So the conquest of Z (or the 26 energy) is mastery of the tongue.

The 6 is the Cosmic Parent - it understands much and gives of itself. The 2 knows good and evil - it sees both sides of an issue so it understands people's beliefs and inner needs. The 8 has excellent judgment, great strength and leadership ability. The shape of Z resembles lightning, which is created from atmospheric electricity, so there is much vital energy with this letter. There is a feeling of much power.

The full number of God is 26.

There are 26 numbers in the alphabet and Z is the 26th, so Z corresponds to God.

8 represents the law 'As above, So below'. This vibration understands the earth (lower circle) and the intellectual (upper circle) planes. This means it can take an idea and make it work on the material plane.

8's are strong personalities and good business people. It is enclosed, self-contained power.

On its side, the 8 balances = good judgment and good common sense.

8 came to represent the law As above, So below for by studying man and the world around us we come to understand the worlds above, the universe and spiritual man.

Ancient man discovered 8 to be the orbit of planets - it has since been proven that it is the natural path of activity for people and animals.

Pythagoras called 8 'Light and Darkness.' The darkness is the selfish material minded moneymaker and the light is the spiritual minded who offers light to those in the dark. This knowledge of spirit and matter gives the 8 inspiration, leadership ability, even genius. It is 4 plus 4: the organizational abilities of the 4 doubled - 44: mastermind, prosper, unlimited.

44 is THE MASTER THERAPIST who solves the material needs of the world. It is the 'so below' that makes manifest on the material plane.

Two 4's make it doubly practical - resourceful. They can take valuable ideas and put them to work helping people build or rebuild their lives. Some help through medicine (44).

The 44 is a very special kind of therapist, one on a spiritual (44) level.

FYI - Edgar Cayce had a life path of 44. Minister is 44.

The 8th letter of the Hebrew alphabet, Cheth or Heth, corresponds to the English letters 'Ch' - the sound being guttural as in the name of the German composer, Bach.

Just as a field must be made ready for crops by plowing, irrigation, fertilization, and seeding - a person's own consciousness must prepare for spiritual illumination, much of which comes through intuition.

When one has advanced along the first seven paths learning the lessons of the vibrations of each letter and its corresponding number, one reaches in 8 the chance to test all he has learned in his field of endeavor.

On its side 8 is the nourishing breast that gives forth needed nutrients for growth. The 8 is the balancer that meters out justice. The cycle that always returns to us in just measure. Cause and Effect.

Cheth is; ‘As we sow, so shall we reap.'

8 corresponds to the letter H. H resembles a ladder - two directions - up and down. We can descend into the negative or ascend into the positive by our thoughts as well as deeds.

The governing influence of H is speech. In a fit of temper there is an abuse of words. The breath for speech is being contaminated from within and spewed out in an unsavory energy that poisons the air. It is also the breath that gives and renews life. The spoken word can be the lower part of the H - all material and mortal or it can be the upper part - the loving, creative breath of God that revitalizes and renews, a healing energy. So well chosen words develop a sense of balance and harmony.
