"Dearest Ones,

"As troubles occur in your lives, it is often wondered if God is punishing his children, or why God is not protecting his children. It might be helpful to understand how God works in these times, for it is not intended to be a mystery.

"First, we must point out to you that if all prayers were answered literally and directly, few people would be alive upon the Earth. Prayers are made in many ways, some formal and many while in immediate need. Many of these prayers call out for revenge upon another who is seen to have caused the misery felt by the one in prayer. Whether made in formal request or as a plea from the heart, there are many of these prayers made every minute. Some wish for deliverance from one they see as an oppressor. Some seek deliverance from one they define as evil. Most are in great pain as the prayers are made and none are more deserving in the eyes of the Lord than any others. The pain of physical tortures does not rise higher than the confusion of a disciplined child.

"Do you see that if all of these prayers were answered directly in literal form? Do you truly think that there has never been such a prayer said by you? Do you truly believe that there has never been such a prayer said against you?

"A merciful God cannot refuse to assist his children or place the needs of one child over the other. All are His children. All reflect a part of God. To refuse a part of Himself would be an act of self-destruction, even suicide. This would not serve any.

"A vengeful God will answer each prayer of revenge immediately, ultimately taking the life of any who were prayed against, leaving none. The vengeful God can therefore never see Himself in His creations, for they are destroyed without mercy.

"A God of All exercises a higher reason. A God of All exercises Love of the All that is the God. He works through the people of His creation. He places His strength and Love within the field that is the Earth and makes it available to any who would take it and use it to serve their fellows. It is no more available to the hero than the victim. It is no more available to the righteous than to the villains. It is no more available to the strong than to the lame. For it is meant that All will possess the possibilities of the Creator. It is then for the individual to choose to utilize it, manipulate it, share it, or refuse it. For it is Man who has the hands to help or hurt. It is Man who has the eyes to see or close. It is Man who has the Heart to extend or ignore. It is Man who can best help himself, with the Love of God which is available to All, and to help his brothers and sisters as he would wish to be helped himself.

"Life is continuous. Birth and death are but seasons along the way. God knows that All are His children, people, animals, plants, rivers, and Earth itself. As His creations, He knows that they are all capable of every possibility, and they are capable of choosing from all levels, from the Lowest to the Highest. They can show Everything.

"If you would ask God’s help in the troubles in your lives, lend Him your hand, for He will put it to good use. If you would seek to know God, lend Him your Heart, for He will show you that words will always fall short. Words have been created in a perspective of duality and separation which are illusions, even to the point of assigning to God a gender which limits His Love and Power. Please do not get caught in the traps of words, for if He did so, all prayers would be answered in the literal manner and He would become nothing more than the vengeful God. He has understanding to look beyond revenge. If He overrode every word of prayer, He would may seem merciful, but His children would never grow beyond the simple. They could never reflect or possess the power of their spiritual heritage. He has the understanding to look beyond mercy. He has the Eyes and Heart of Love and they are at your service at all times.
